Biography
Adam is a UK-born composer and orchestrator based in southern Germany. He specialises in orchestral Video Game music, particularly in the 4X and Grand Strategy genres because he finds hours staring at a map to be immensely satisfying. Adam went to Royal Holloway to get an undergraduate degree in Music and Mathematics so that he could write music about the square-root of -1. He also has a Masters degree in Orchestration for Film, Games and Television from Thinkspace Education, where he expanded the limits of his expression of the imaginary. Previously Adam spent 16 years as a peripatetic piano teacher, a profession that required great organisational skills, oodles of patience and an appropriate sense of humour. Outside of music and gaming, Adam enjoys taking in the sights around Lake Constance, pottering in his garden, watching Formula 1 and Star Trek (not at the same time), and claiming to be the world's only glory-hunting Norwich City supporter. He doesn't enjoy learning German, but tries anyway.
